The saloon O'Toole's is the only other saloon in town aside from the Barkeep's (Mordecai Benmont Jiminy) saloon, which is generally just called The Space Saloon. O'Toole is the owner and proprietor of O'Toole's.
O'Toole and his bar are often mentioned in conjunction with how the Barkeep does not want trouble in his place, however, O'Toole normally does like trouble in his place, and is reputed to encourage brawling.
After leaving Sparks Nevada's company, at the end of The Piano has Been Thinking, Croach the Tracker spent several months drinking at O'Toole's, while incurring tabulation and doing odd jobs to work off that tabulation.
The character of O'Toole and the inside of his saloon are finally seen in the episode One Night at O'Tooles. However, as Techs, the current Marshal, has outlawed brawling, O'Toole frantically attempts to keep Sparks Nevada, The Red Plains Rider, Croach, and the Barkeep from brawling, as they are all itching for a brawl, but O'Toole claims Techs will shoot him if there is any unauthorized brawling in his place. Instead, he encourages them to calm down by looking at a picture of an adorable puppy, while he stalls for time after secretly calling Mercy Laredo to come collect the bounty on Sparks' head.
O'Toole's used to hold an open mic night, but it was discontinued for immoderate terribleness.
