The Hobo Princess is an often-spoken about and never-seen character in Down in Moonshine Holler.
She is the daughter of Alexander the Great, who promised her hand in marriage to Banjo Bindlestuff should he prove himself worthy and would be able to locate her. Alexander gave Banjo one of the Princess' gloves in order for Banjo to recognize her and prove that she is the princess. Banjo gave up all his fortune and comfort in order to ride the rails and seek her out.
It is unclear whether Banjo has ever even met the Princess, or if she has any reason to return his affections. She is mostly described as "fair" and beautiful.
